I feel your pain pal, I made a similar post about being a casual player and not being able to give up my life to grind time gated loot and you know what they told me...........NOTHING because they don’t care about their casual players. Hope it works out for you

Edited by SpartanLegend_27: 8/27/2019 7:05:58 PMAnd why should they? Destiny is an MMORPG, a genre that, from the outset, is NOT casual friendly. Why would you expect them to bend to the will of casuals and ruin the game for it? Having everything be doable at a casual pace ruins the fun for hardcore players, which is ultimately what the game was built for.

Because everyone should have a shot at the game not just no lifers, I get the grind but being time gated is the issue not the steps

Untrue. Not everything should be accessible to everyone. You got strikes, crucible, gambit (which isn't very fun admittedly), and a host of other stuff 'casuals' can do. Why sweat over set of armor that will be valueless come Shadowkeep anyways? I get the idea behind "I should have a shot at everything in a game I paid for', but it just doesn't work. Games are made for specific types of people. Minecraft is made for people who just wanna build shit. CoD is made for the MLG no-lifes who can hit master prestige in like a week and pride themselves over their "sick quick scoping skills, bruh". And Destiny is made for people who can and want to grind for hundreds of hours for stuff. I understand if you just can't do that, but don't blame the game or Bungie that you bought a game that isn't for you.

I have the armor hahahaha, I was just saying I understand his point and also if they don’t want to help casual players than they are crapping on 50% of their revenue (not sure if that’s accurate lol) I don’t want things handed to me at all I just think that if the grind is insane that it burns people out and that they put all this time in and when it’s done some people just don’t want to play for awhile because of the grind they just had to put in.

Yes, but that's kinda the experience you get with MMO's. Bullshit grind, rest break, bullshit grind, rest break. Most people WILL get tired out, and that's expected. But this is what makes a good MMO style game, imo. If the grind weren't nuts somewhere, you'd blow through the game and then be done with it. Not what the devs want and not what the game needs.

I get it for sure, I only get upset if it’s like a time gated event that like a week long and I’m out of town for work. That means because I have a demanding job that I can’t enjoy that part of the game but the month long ones I’m cool with
