I edited the original post. Everyone is assuming I did JUST the Blind Well bounty for my Solstice set...

I'm currently testing something. Apparently there are/were 3 weekly bounties so I'm confused. The Story missions and War for the Dreaming City are just Quest steps. The weekly bounties are: Ascendant Challenge, Offering to the Oracle and Audience with the Queen.

When we weren't leveling our characters, we'd do Story Mission first, then Ascendant Challenge, then Blind Well, then ST if it was 3rd week. Husband and I have been doing it like that for almost a year. You of all people know how much I love that city and how much I love to defend it. 😊 We'd do the same thing every week, even if our characters were top. And this time around we did the same order as to process the 50 Bounties step on our Solstice Sets.

Ok....I'm going to copy/paste what I wrote to someone else... I have been doing all the Dreaming City activities since September, every single week, religiously. I have not missed a single week. I have 3 characters too. I never stopped defending the city, even when I didn't "have to" anymore. I'm a Cursebreaker for crying out loud. Story mission gives you one powerful reward automatically upon completion. Ascendant challenge bounty gives you one powerful reward and the Ascendant chest gives you one non-powerful reward. First Blind Well chest gives you a powerful reward. Second chest gives nothing. You pop the Oracle Bounty and you get a whole row of goodies, 1 to 2 powerful drops, the Offering, some Dark Crsytals, etc. I have a recording of my Titan popping the bounty in front of the Oracle Engine and she received a double exotic drop. Then you open the chest and get one non-powerful reward. You don't even have to do the War of The Dreaming City bounty with Petras 8 Dailys as I have skipped that bounty many many times. Even when Season of Opulence started, I was using the Dreaming City to bring up my mains Reverie Dawn set. I'd pop the Oracle bounty and get two powerful armor pieces if I'm lucky. This crystal only thing is recent. I made this post to see if it was a bug or if it was intentional on Bungies part to phase out old content...

I supplied with a pic and a link from nearly a year ago showing it is not a recent change or even a change at all.

So my recording of my Titan popping the Oracle Bounty and receiving a double exotic drop (Helm of St. 14 and slidey boots) is just a figment of my imagination?

Nope... I explained that to you. You had completed the ascendant challenge already and by completing the well you finished petra's powerful weekly.

Yea, I did that... Read my reply to the moderator. My husband and I would do Story Mission first, then Ascendant Challenge, then Blind Well, as to progress the 50 Bounties step on our Blue Sets. (On all 3 characters). We also did them thinking they'd progress the Weekly Challenges step. (Which they didn't). Nevertheless, all of that was done and I still got nothing. I don't want the rewards or anything, I was just wondering if this was a bug.

While you may or may not have a bug. I can advise it is not due to the Well bounty being changed. It has always functioned like it is now.

Thats what I was wondering this whole time, if it has changed or not. 😅 I think everyone is assuming I did JUST the Blind Well, when we do all 3 every week. And we did all 3 for our Solstice Sets because, they count as bounties.

Sorry if it seemed that I assumed that. I was trying to speak only to that bounty and explain why other rewards seemed to come from it.
