No dude. When you pop the Oracle Engine bounty, you get the Offering and up to two powerful drops, sometimes exotics. The chest you open after you hand in the Offering only gives one non-powerful reward. I've recorded instances where I've gotten double exotic drops from the bounty before. I've been religiously doing all the Dreaming City activities since September, even if all my characters were top level and I didn't "have to" do it anymore. Even after I got all the Truth to Power lore, I still kept doing all the Dreaming City weeklies every week. I haven't missed a week. No offense, but after almost a year, you'd think I know what comes out of that bounty... -

Oye...As I have said, I've been doing ALL the Dreaming City activities religiously since September, sometimes on all 3 characters, and I have not missed a week. (Simply because, I love the Dreaming City). It does not matter what order you do Petras Weeklies in. I have done them in every order imaginable. There have been weeks where I didn't do Petras "War of the Dreaming City" and have just done the Ascendant Challenge, Story Mission, and Blind Well. None of that stuff matters. I'm beginning to think you are trolling me. -
that bounty has only given the oracle offering. Best of luck to you in your quest though.

I edited my original post. I think you and everyone else here is assuming I did JUST the Blind Well bounty for my Solstice Set... -
I’m not assuming anything. I’m stating that the Gateway Between World bounty (by itself) does NOT offer any powerful rewards. It only provides you with the Oracle Offering. If you use it to complete the 2nd of the weekly bounties for Petra, then you will get the powerful reward for completing that weekly 2 part challenge.

How recent is that screenshot? Because thats only been the case these past few weeks. This is why I made the post, to inquire if Bungie changed it or not. I'm being serious when I say that I've been doing Dreaming City, every single week, religiously, since September. This Offering Only thing has only been the past few weeks. I have a recording of my Titan during the holidays popping the Oracle Bounty and receiving two powerful Exotics. Even when Season of Opulence started, I was using Blind Well to level my Reverie Dawn set. I'd get two powerful armor pieces to infuse into my current gear. So I'm a liar now? ALLLL my experience since September on 3 characters is wrong? This could have been a recent change Bungie never said anything about, or its a bug. Thats why I'm asking. I'm telling you right now though that this is recent. -

If you complete the ascendant challenge first, completing the Well will also complete Petra's weekly and that drops powerful rewards.

You get the 2 powerful drops if you completed the ascendant challenge first, which counts as 1/2 for the weekly thing in DC, turning in the offering bounty would make this 2/2, granting the powerful rewards. He is not trolling, he is only telling you the truth.

Dude...I'll say the same thing to him as I have said to you... I have been doing all the Dreaming City activities since September, every single week, religiously. I have not missed a single week. I have 3 characters too. I never stopped defending the city, even when I didn't "have to" anymore. I'm a Cursebreaker for crying out loud. Story mission gives you one powerful reward automatically upon completion. Ascendant challenge bounty gives you one powerful reward and the Ascendant chest gives you one non-powerful reward. First Blind Well chest gives you a powerful reward. Second chest gives nothing. You pop the Oracle Bounty and you get a whole row of goodies, 1 to 2 powerful drops, the Offering, some Dark Crsytals, etc. I have a recording of my titan popping the bounty in front of the Oracle Engine and she received a double exotic drop. Then you open the chest and get one non-powerful reward. You don't even have to do the War of The Dreaming City bounty with Petras 8 Dailys as I have skipped that bounty many many times. Even when Season of Opulence started, I was using the Dreaming City to bring up my mains Reverie Dawn set. I'd pop the Oracle bounty and get two powerful armor pieces if I'm lucky. This crystal only thing is recent. I made this post to see if it was a bug or if it was intentional on Bungies part to phase out old content... -
The crystal only thing is not recent, its been like that since the beginning, you dont have to believe it or not, thats the way it has ALWAYS been.
