If you haven't done it yet this year, you're doing something wrong
I've gone several months without direct contact with something Tolkien, I need sustenance now or I won't be able to make it.
So in other words I'm going to start my semi-annual/annual/quarterly/weekly/bi-weekly rewatch of the Lord of the Rings movies

1 ReplyEvery few years my wife and I attempt this. The trilogy has aged surprisingly well in terms of special effects. Obviously the story is timeless and the characters never get old. It's been a little while since we've been able to get through all three extended versions in close proximity but hopefully this winter we'll get through them again. We also have to do The Matrix as well.
