The last thread for it (linked) seems to have died and been forgotten, but the problem and everything done to try and troubleshoot/fix is detailed there. On the off chance it's a hardware compatibility issue I also have my PC build posted over in that link as well. A brief recap of the problem is that Destiny 2 seems unable to detect any microphone I use. It is the only game in my very large library that I have this issue with. Other games in the battle.net app i play do not have this issue either. Example: Overwatch. I have tried 3 different microphones in various ports with different drivers and played with every setting I can find (including antivirus, firewall, and modem/router settings) with no change. The old thread also contains my dxdiag and more detailed information, but the basic gyst of it is that at this point I have no idea what else I can try, and may end up needing professional assistance on this matter. ------------------ edit to add: My PC Setup: I am running windows 7 professional x64-bit operating system Intel Core i7-5820K LGA2011V3 3.3Ghz 6-core CPU, Asus STRIX GTX 980 TI GDDR5 6GB 384Bit PCI-E 3.0 DVI/HDMI/Display Port, Corsair H105 Liquid CPU Cooler 240MM, ASUS X99-A LGA2011-v3 DDR4 Motherboard, Corsair 1000W ATX 12V 80+ Gold Modular Zero RPM Fan Power Supply, Corsair Vengeance 32GB (488GB0 3000MHz DDR4 RAM, Corsair Graphite 780T ATX Full Tower Black, Kingston HyperX Fury 240GB SSD, Western Digital 4TB Caviar Black HDD - WD4003FZEX Microphones tested: AT2004 USB, Logitech C920 Pro webcam built in stereo microphone, Astro A40s (tried different port types, with and without the mixamp) I've tried deleting the cvars file, I've tried a scan/repair (found nothing) as well as a complete reinstall of Destiny 2. I have checked antivirus and firewall settings and made sure destiny and battle.net are both trusted and excluded (pretty much completely free of all scrutiny or anything that could impede the applications) as well as tried turning on/off allowing applications to take exclusive control of the microphone.
