you state your speeds up/down but exactly how many people are connected to said wifi? if you have multiple devices they are eating bandwidth which could make your upload side sketchy....

OK so now I'm using a wired connection and it still doesn't work (almost at all!). Now I can't even enter a match. What the hell is going on. The furthest I've managed to reach so far is getting into the loading to the match (when you see all the players' ships), then black screen and boom error code beet. My stats are almost the same as with wifi (a bit better- ping:15;down:90-100;up:4.9). Any ideas?

That is correct, there are multiple devices connected to the wifi (around 2-4 at a given time, mostly phones). 1. even so, and I know the D2 says the comparison shouldn't be made, but I do want to emphasize that other games works perfectly fine. Is there any possibility to test this (other than saying my family to all disconnect from the wifi)? 2. I have a wifi extender connected at some point of the house. Would it cause more issues than a regular device connected to the wifi? Would disconnecting it be helpful enough?

d2 is definitely not 'other games' lol ultimately, you want to reduce the number of connections between you and the router/modem, so adding a wifi extender isn't the best option. if possible, adding a wired connection would be the best option. most people balk at that but look into 'powerline' ethernet adapters. you don't have to run network cords, they use your house/appartment electrical wires.

Just to get it straight: I'm not using the extender myself, it's just connected to the wifi for other devices to use. I will look into buying a powerline adapter. Might be the solution, but I'm still looking for solutions that won't require additional purchases.

good luck, but in a house with 4-5 other connections sharing the wifi, your upload speed is going to struggle to keep up.

Edited by YechiamTK: 8/12/2019 3:26:40 PMok so just to check if it'll actually work properly using a wired connection, I connected my laptop straight to my router - and now the game won't even log me in (I'm stuck on the first loading screen after signing in). Any ideas? Edit: Sometimes it'd let me select my character, but then the screen goes black (I'm assuming trying to connect). Btw is there any way to check connectivity to D2 servers manually?

when using the wired connection make sure the wifi is off/disconnected. are you getting any sort of error codes like before?

I would delete the cache files on the destiny 2. Bungie should have the procedure on their web site. Login problems and black screen issues have specific procedures for PC.

Tried that, didn't help.
