Can you read my opinions for my favorite Super (Nova Warp)? Tell me if it’s just absolutely never gonna happen, or if my concerns are all relevant and true. Read first: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/253067862 Read second: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/253102065 Before you continue to read any further; I don’t believe you should tweak any damage in the crucible. Reason being, whatever might come of this, will all be nerfed severely by it effecting the crucible in anyway! BURNING MAUL (SOLAR) Code of the Devastator: Increase the duration of Roaring Flames to 20 seconds. Instead of healing when walking over the hammer, hold the melee button after-a-kill to summon the hammer (either your way, or mine, the indicator is still necessary). I do understand that the base super damage without roaring flames sucks, but tweaking the base damage of the super highly effects each stack of roaring flames. They’d just have to tweak the multiplier to be relatively the same, like they did with raiden-flux after they buffed arc staff. Roaring Flames in general should just charge both your grenade and melee, with each stack I’d just charge faster. The burning mauls spin attack, where do I even start? Why can’t it OhK another guardian that’s not in their super? Buff spin attack in PvE by 80%, or just change it completely; make it cost less energy etc, etc...   • Ok so I read through your posts on nova warp and I'm not quite sure what to think about it. It all is dependent on how bungie plans to nerf super damage resistance. It might be that they just nerf supers to be more like spectral blades in terms of armor, it might just be a small reduction, and it might go lower. As a person who's tried to use top tree striker in PvP, with varying success, I understand just how difficult it is to use supers reliant on heavy expenditure and slower overall movement for something like crucible...but like I said it all depends on how they handle the armor nerf.
