I would say no. Anything that runs in the backround that is an overlay or a odd program would probably be detected by bungie as cheats

What's weird is that after searching the subreddit for "controller software" I found this: https://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTheGame/comments/bsmiaw/potential_ban_avoidance_need_options_for/eopgob2/ Which is an official reply to a similar thing, but the post in question was related to XPadder being used to turn controller presses into keyboard input. Better DS3 translates the PS3 input into XBox 360 input (not keyboard input), meaning I still have all the drawbacks of using a controller like the slow turning speed and wonky shooting with the aim assist. The question is "is Better DS3 recognised like XPadder is" as far as third party software goes. Or is it not well enough known and would trigger some cheat detection.

  • I personally wouldn't risk it. Destiny 2 is very picky about 3rd party softwares. I use an xbox one controller on my PC. I just use the bluetooth and its responsive.
