This event was actually still made with the Activision-Bungie relationship.

This.

Well shit, if u know the truth lets hear it then.

Read up. The truth is... they're not really bungie anymore. Most of them left because it's not what they once believed in. Activision were surprisingly hands off this whole ordeal. Even gave them extra time to not -blam!- it up. Its why acti left. It wasn't so bungie could be free from acti it's so acti could be free from the dumpster fire bungie has become. They could sense a burning ship and jumped.

It's not misinformation. Activision-Bungie had already contracted out through the end of the first annual pass, Shadowkeep is the first expansion that Bungie will release that's entirely their own
It's not misinformation. Activision-Bungie had already contracted out through the end of the first annual pass, Shadowkeep is the first expansion that Bungie will release that's entirely their own
Except there isn’t any official statement from either company that’s the case and no leaked contracts substantiating it either. No one outside of corporate leadership at either company knows what the contractual relationship is. The misinformation you’re spreading is based on Luke Smith’s TWAB statement that Vicarious Visions (an Activision support studio) would be continuing to work or season of opulence content. That’s all, no details.

Based on Bungie's offical reveal stream for Shadowkeep where multiple high up devs repeatedly called it the first expansion that was solely theirs, (that's an official statement from the company btw) I think it's safe to assume that the statement of "Shadowkeep is the first solely Bungie expansion" is accurate

General characterizations made by someone and contractual financial obligations and contractual product obligations are two different things. There is no reason to think Activision had any input at all into the solstice of heroes event. They never had a development role in the Destiny franchise. Substantiate your claim with some actual documentation of contractual obligation or stop spreading misinformation based on PR spin.

They never had a development role in the Destiny franchise
TF?
-
It's true. Activision didn't.
-

They never had a development role in the Destiny franchise
TF?
Activision were publishers of Destiny. End of story.
-
Oh yeah
-
There only in it by name, the marketing team was fully bungie at this point. There contract only extended too the opulence DLC everything after has been fully bungies marketing team.
-
So was every bad decision ever. It's why acti got out
-
*They're *Their *to *Bungie's Also, yeah I know that, but guess what genius? The Solstice Event is IN the season of opulence. Season of Opulence isn't over, and even on the roadmap the event was always listed as a part of the Season of Opulence, so the event was still made by Activision-Bungie.

My dyslexia should not bother you but alright. Also no, it was covered by the "launch" of opulence which is why Bungie and Act announced there "contract has ended" Aka... they have nothing to do with them anymore. Financially they will gain from the season but the contract with them having anything else to do with them has been publicly terminated, aka why the stocks dropped awhile back for a time being. "Genius". Once again try be Civil, but i guess you cant.
