We didn’t underestimate the cabal. The Nine were the ones to blind us of their approach.

The Nine blinding their approach affected the opening few minutes, but we were about to UNO Reverse them until Ghaul pushed the button. Both in-universe and out we underestimated the Cabal after Oryx came around.>

That's a reason they was on the drednaught, was to figure out how to drain our light from the hive, read in on the lore tab of skyburners oath. We knew they also contacted their emperor and we knew they intended to come
