Should Hunters be "Immune" during their dodge?

Yes, in PvP. They've got nothing else.

NO, NOT AT ALL! THAT'S SO OVERPOWERED!

It would be healthy for the game both in PvP & PvE

So first off, when it comes to PvP, Titans have Shoulder Charge which can basically be thought of as an "aimbot shotgun" and Warlocks have Handheld Supernova (and Rifts. Rifts are not OP, but it's a nice perk for the class and I'm going to use it to prove my point). What do Hunters have? The Dodge? Barely. I think the Hunter deserves to be immune to all damage throughout the whole dodge animation, at least in PvP. The Dodge in PvE has problems too: I often find myself dodging when I'm nearly dead from being shot by enemies, yet they (somehow) always laser me down throughout the entire dodge thus rendering it completely useless. If that's too much, then how about this: Make Tempest Strike do extra damage to the first enemy it hits (Thus giving it "one-shot" capabilities in PvP). If you agree, please upvote so we can spread the word. If you are reading this post and you think it sounds ridiculous to give hunters invincibility during their dodge, then think of it this way: What if the Titan's Shoulder Charge didn't exist yet and this article was proposing that Bungie adds a "one-shot dash-attack" for Titans? It would sound absolutely preposterous, right? The Hunter needs to be buffed. Thanks.

 • Run bottom tree arc.. It is not “immune”.. but it increases your resilience to a point that it saves your life. And all you have to do is sprint to get back your dodge faster. This can allow for survival from everything you listed.

 • Wartard mains already dial Cry-1-1 in these forms over anything hunter related until it's nerfed into oblivion. Why would you want to give them something else to cry about?

 • As a Hunter main(Hunter only if I’m honest) your absolutely right PVE practically useless PvP even more so practically useless it has literally been relegated to a quick reload tool and if under fire even that’s no good! How’s this warlocks and titans have mini supers that always give them the upper hand not to mention the OP melees if you should have the fortune to survive the initial onslaught and everyone’s Complaint, hunters Mobility... mobility... ...yeah let that sink in. Their oh so deadly, you ought to duck cause here comes another Hunters mobility to get you!!! (Side note:Why am I chasing warlocks most of the time when I’m the one with all the mobility?)

 • Hunter main, hell to the no on this idea. You’re wanting to give Hunters invincibility frames on the class ability with the lowest cooldown. There are so many things that would make this completely broken. Paragon mods, Sixth Coyote, Wormhusk Crown, Dragon’s Shadow and any other effect/exotic that incorporates or benefits dodge in any way. It would become a spam able ability that takes no thought and can be used all the time. You don’t want to die mid-dodge? Maybe consider dodging before you’re almost dead. Is shoulder charge annoying sometimes? Yeah but this is in a meta with shotguns/fusion rifles available at almost all times. It’s also predictable if you know that’s what they’re planning to do. Worst they can do is run into a wall or double back on you when you’re chasing them. Dodge is already a great ability because of it’s cool down and it also breaks tracking for a second.
