So, remember Scout Reports?

Y’know, those nifty little consumables that Cayde-6 used to sell alongside his good ole Stash maps that we were all so eager on getting every reset? The ones colored according to their respective planets? The ones that mark chests so you can farm them more easily for planetary materials? Well, for those of you who were used to having a stack or two occupying your inventory space, you’ll find that you suddenly have free space in there now. I only noticed recently after the last patch that all of mine seemingly disappeared without a trace, not from being used or discarded. Clearly, they were deleted en masse by Bungie for whatever reason, but I definitely missed the memo stating when they had planned to do this. So, I must congratulate Bungie on making such a bold and powerful statement. They basically said they are willing to remove consumables/resources from players’ inventories whenever they feel like and without any notice or justification. That takes some real cajones to pull off in a time where community critism and outside opinions on the studio are largely or borderline negative. I cannot help but feel as if this was directed towards the recent shift towards the ever-degrading resource economy and the Tribute Hall’s push towards burning said resources up in order to stall for time until the next whatever-event that’s planned for around August. Either way, I’d hate for them to remove my stash of other consumables and resources in the future, like Runes or Boons or planetary materials. :T
