EVGA Precision X, EVGA XOC, Cause Destiny 2 crashes and lockups
For anyone reading this, switch to MSI Afterburner and Destiny 2 will stop crashing, freezing, and locking up. EVGA Percision X, and EVGA XOC don't play nice with Destiny 2
I've had the freezing and crashing issue for a while. It usually only happened at the end of missions. I finally decided to do something about it, and I found that EVGA was the culprit. Since switching to MSI Afterburner I have had ZERO crashes. Hopefully this will help someone. I also am just manually controlling the fan with MSI Afturburner.

2 RepliesAre you absolutely sure the uninstallation of EVGA Precision fixed the issue? I removed Precision, rebooted and within 5-10 mins I got a freeze during PvE, a story mission. I'm going from an absolute stable game pre-Warmind to a game that is continually crashing and freezing. Just the game mind you, and just this game. Even with the Precision software runnming the game crashes/freezes are so intermittent. The most stability I've had since the update is around 2-3 hours game time, and that was a mix of PvE and PvP. Both cause issues, especially the transistion from orbit to the start of a game and vice versa.
