Hello, When you get disconnected you should receive an error code or message. That information will help you narrow down the issue you are having. You can enter the codes here to get information on how to solve your issue. https://www.bungie.net/en/Help Destiny needs a moderate connection speed of only about 2 up and 2 down but it needs a really stable connection with no data loss. If you are using Wi-Fi please switch to Ethernet because Wi-fi can have data loss due to poor quality connection or interference. • Hi :) I don't always get error codes, but when I do they are very generic ('beaver' for example- a generic "connection lost" error). I am using Wi-Fi, but I also use Wi-Fi for a lot of different games which work just fine. It's a bit difficult for me to switch to Ethernet, so if there's any other suggestion I'd be happy to hear.

 • Hello, Please keep track of the exact error messages you are getting it can help narrow down the exact issue. Here is information on Beaver errors. This error can be caused by several issues. https://www.bungie.net/mobi/en/about/Article?id=11790 Trying Ethernet would be a good idea if you can. Destiny doesn't connect like other games. It has unique ways it connects players that requires it to need a very stable connection.

 • And now I simply got the most general error message- this link: https://www.bungie.net/en/support/troubleshoot?oid=12915 (a "network troubleshooting guide") And that's after two "beet" error codes (again, nothing wrong with my internet connection to literally anything else). In addition to what @off3nc3 says, can we do anything to improve the connectivity (again, ASIDE from switching to Ethernet)? Or are there perhaps any plans to improve the connection server-side?

 • Destiny doesn't use a server connection like other games. The server performs limited actions such as character information and physics for world. When you connect to other players that is a p2p connection so it is your internet that keeps you connected. Here is the information on ERROR CODE: BEET You should try to see if you can improve your connection even if temporary. One thing you can try if you still want to try WiFi is turning off everything else connected to your WiFi. Phones, PC, Cameras, etc. Turn off everything from WiFi disconnect the WiFi from them so the only thing connected is the game. Something might be taking over your WiFi bandwidth without you knowing. Malware on a device can do that.

 • So basically if I want to play Destiny I'm gonna have to switch to wired connection? That seems like a big requirement from a game..
