Not this idiotic topic again. Just use your exotics from your collections to infuse your gear you don't lose that much. Shut up.

Still requires you to use a core. I don't have an exotic for each slot either. You shouldn't assume everyone has an exotic for every slot.

Edit: Nope you are wrong my friend. If you pull an exotic from your collection it will infuse. The infusion below cost me 25 dusklight shards and 1000 glimmer. Well that's just strange because it has always cost me a single core if I use an exotic for infusion. Either way, it's not doable for me. My Titan is 691 and collections come out at 679.

I have all my highest gear equipped and anything pulled from Collections comes out at 680. My current equipment is 690 - 702.
