It’s great and all that people want to be open about themselves, but I really can’t comprehend why there’s an entire month dedicated to it.
I’d like a month to celebrate our worlds armed forces who take pride in their work, but whatever.

June is also National Aphasia awareness month. Shall we complain that that’s an entire month as well? (I don’t understand why this month long thing is a complaint)
-
Not really a complaint, more of me not being able to comprehend why something so small needs to be celebrated. It’s literally become a brand at this point.
-
Why celebrate people who murder innocent men, women and children?
-
Don’t quite know when the British navy did that.
-
You said armed forces. Besides, of course the navy have.
-
The navy isn’t part of armed forces then? I don’t particularly associate terrorists as being innocents. I’m getting the feeling that you’re being special and generalising ‘armed forces’ as every single militia that has ever existed.
-
That's what armed forces means...
-
Have some common sense.
-
Dunno what you're even saying. Of course a navy is part of a countries armed forces...
-
Why celebrate people who murder innocent men, women and children?
What we regard as armed forces don’t do this. As I said, get a common sense.
-
Well all armed forces do this, so get your head out of the sand.
-
Other way round.
-
I feel like saying November for you. Might only be a UK thing though. Poppies all around.
-
I am from the UK. That’s remembrance, which is honouring those who fought in the World wars.
-
I suppose. I do feel like we celebrate our forces though.

Yeah, I would love to see just a worldwide month long holiday where we could all just come together and celebrate the lives both coming back, and the lives that were lost in wars. War is still a terrible thing, mostly built on hate, but at the end of the day people fought because they thought their side was right. Millions upon millions of people have lost loved ones all in the name of conquest, defense, and justice, and I think we just need to reach out and feel those families who have lost ones. Because at the end of the day, the only thing that is going to stop war, is understanding and love between peoples.
