destiny is a casuals game
ttk of the 720 auto rifle is .8 with 10 crits
ttk of a 150 hc is .8 with 3 crits
[b]it's significantly easier[/b] to land [u]3 accurate shots in 1 second[/u] than it is to land [u]10 accurate in 1 second
[/u] (and the wild inconsistency of auto rifle recoil only reinforces how much easier hc's are to use).
let me make this clear. It is significantly easier to hit 3 separate small targets in .8 seconds than it is to hit 10 separate small targets in .8 seconds. Since most enemies do no stand still and the ttk's are high you will not get the chance to shoot something that is not moving around allot, especially in pvp. Destiny is a casuals game and not a competitive game as it rewards mediocrity over skill.

I don’t think you should be calling anything a crutch when you’re using a pulse with no recoil and a full auto shotgun on top of that.

I’m far from salty. I can still drop 40 bombs without having to put NF on. I just think it’s hilarious when someone calls hand cannons a crutch when they use something that’s just as easy. it’s the only gun you use too...must be your crutch😂 you would think with all that rumble you play you’d actually start to be decent at the game. It’s crazy how you’re still a bot.

Then why are hand cannons so much more popular than scout rifles? Easy mode, more forgiving when you don't lant the 3 crits. HC can still 4 tap with 2-3 body shots, Jade Rabbit got her body shot damage nerfed hard when comparing D1 and D2 values. I'm tired of bungie catering to HCs so much. A huge part of that is not the bodyshot damage, but map design. If there were more large maps, big enough to force players to change their loadouts for the situation, then scouts would be indirectly buffed. So hyped they're bringing back Widow's Court!
