• You're lucky...we still can't seem to find a drummer.

  • Dear Guardian, I have read everything up to this point and have a few words to say regarding this: 1. Bungie made it very clear that internet connectivity issues would start resulting in crucible/match made restrictions and, based on the severity and frequency of these issues, would result in a ban. This was put into their EULA that all players must sign before accessing the game. It has been this way for a while. 2. If you break the EULA and your transgressions result in a ban, you have lost access to the game and a ban is permanent. Bungie does not discuss or dispute these actions with very rare exceptions (this really only happened when the PC port was launched). 3. So long as your console or IP was not banned from the game, you can create a new account and play using that. If you have the console set as your home console, your new account will not need to buy the content and you will be able to play without having to pay again. 4. If you know your connection is unstable and you have been warned in the past from playing crucible and yet you still do it, you are rightfully banned. Do not play PvP unless you have a stable internet connection, especially competitive.
Beginning soon, players with the most unreliable connections will receive an in-game warning. We know that connection quality is fluid, so don’t worry if you have occasional, temporary issues. If you receive one of these warnings, please visit the Network Troubleshooting Guide. If your connection does not improve, there are additional guides available that can help you in diagnosing advanced network issues. If all else fails, contact your ISP for assistance. If your connection does not improve after an in-game warning, and we continue detecting a negative impact on other Guardians, restrictions from PvP activities may be applied to your account. If a restriction is applied to your account, you will be unable to participate in PvP for two weeks. If you continue to play on an unreliable connection that harms the experience of other players, that restriction may be extended.
(source) If for some reason you are not able to improve the stability of your connection, it is recommended to refrain from playing pvp activities as the negative side effects of your connection will lead to longer restrictions. Bungie does not discuss restrictions or bans.

      • What do you want bungie to do? You pay $60 for a game and they have to spend thousands of dollars to connect high speed internet to your house? Let you be the only one with bad internet to run unchecked in PVP?

      • It is your fault for having bad internet and your fault for deciding to play knowing the consequences.
