So everyone complains that you can't buy specific items and too much requires real money/silver. So Bungie makes it so bright dust can be used to buy everything, meaning no silver needed, only gameplay, and you still complain?

  • And will continue to complain for as long as BUNGiE continues to try and nickel and dime people in a game that the average player spent $180USD to reach the point in. It wasn't okay with Black Ops 4 tried to sell people a Red Dot Sight for $1.99. And it's still not okay when Destiny tries to sell a ghost shell for $6.99

  • Is it ok for Epic to sell all the cosmetics that they sell? Eververse is a cosmetic store front. With items that don't actually effect game play. Bungie is a business. Businesses can offer anything they like for purchase. As long as Eververse remains cosmetic, I don't care what they offer for sale.

Everything to the right in the picture in the twab is silver exclusive, meaning there's gonna be a whole hell of a lot more silver exclusive content in season 7.

  • They are going to have a few items that are silver exclusive like the ones we got already but the rest should be able to be purchased for BD or Silver. The screencap was only of the featured page and didn't show everything you could actually buy.

That featured page had $41 worth of silver exclusive new season 7 cosmetics alone. They are gonna be pushing silver exclusive content hard in season 7. I bet you those year 1 throwback engrams are gonna be silver exclusive too.

That's stuff you can buy with silver, that stuff will be purchasable with bright dust as well. I guess you missed this point?
Every new Eververse item in Season of Opulence will be available for direct purchase via Silver or Bright Dust
They did state that there will be Silver exclusive items but those are usually tied to things like Whisper or Outbreak, or like 2 event specific items. Which are free quests and events anyways. Also, they will tweet when those exclusive items are available as well.

Not it won't. Why isn't there a bright dust price point next to the silver price then? Also the whisper quest was free to everyone who didn't buy warmind? The outbreak quest was free to everyone who didn't buy the annual pass?

  • Those are the featured items and they did say that they will rotate between being able to be purchased with silver or bright dust I think. The whisper quest was free to those who didn't buy warmind and Outbreak is free to everyone who didn't buy the annual pass.

  • So we just gonna ignore the fact that you can no longer earn new items through bright engrams?

  • This is Bungie we're talking about. Until they say other wise I'm going with the scummiest option. it's really not out of the realm of possibility either, it's no secret that eververse hasn't been booming with sales so what better way of nudging us in that direction.

  • I think a few minor things still might be silver only if i interpretted it correctly. I am fine with either or though to be honest.
