Dude, relax. I still have the 1k silver I got from the pre-purchase of Forsaken or Annual Pass. ON TOP OF: 131,926 Bright Dust. Sure I could probably buy everything but why? Get what you get from drops and leave the rest alone. IF People want to spend their money to get something, let them, it is their money and they can spend it any way they want.

  • So, because YOU still have the 1k silver and plenty of bright dust left over, that makes it ok? This community.....smh.....never values the other side of an argument. It's always "my" opinion is the only one that matters, but not yours.

  • Ok. Remove Fabled from crucible weapons. It prevents players from playing the way they want to.

  • So if you don’t play anymore, what is your issue with people being frustrated at the heavy monetization focus with this game?

  • you don't need to pay for any of the eververse stuff in order to be good at; play; participate; or othewise be able to enjoy any part of this game (beginning to end). but let me use a real world scenario to help you out. You go to an all inclusive pre-paid dinner at some hoity-toity place. While you are enjoying your steak tar-tar you think - 'man a ice cold Schitz would be perfect' - so you order one. The Schlitz was not part of the all inclusive meal, only plain old H2O. Are you going to throw a fit because you are being charged extra. Of course you are, that high class person you believe yourself to be you feel you must have that Schlitz in order to Really Appreciate your dinner. Well, drinks don't come free in the real world - neither does Eververse items. Drink the H2O, be happy, it is good for you, especially come these warmer months, hydration is important.

  • I've never heard a more inane and self-conceited 'argument' revolving around this game than yours. Bravo on being the biggest moron around. Let me take your 'argument' and properly attune it to Destiny 2. You go to McDonalds and order a Happy meal for standard price expecting a standard happy meal. Instead, you get the chicken nuggets that have been sitting over the frier fpr the last hour, waiting to be used up. No fries, no drink and no happy meal toy incuded. So you cough up the extra cash to buy your drink first. Then you get your fries. Finally, you pay what could almost get you another happy meal, and recieve your toy. But wait! Your fries need salt! You want some sauce for your nuggets! Maybe a bit if ice for your drink so that you can really enjoy yourself. So you ask the register jockey if you can have some of these things and thats when they start ringing you up for the little stuff that should have been part of the meal you've already overpaid for.

  • Well your problem is eating at McDonald's. Find a better venue.

  • Now translate that in to the actual topic on hand and you get exactly what I did. I gave BUNGiE a middle finger and haven't done anything with D2 but log in to check out how smooth it runs on my new PC for shits and giggles.

  • You and I paid for the game and got what we got. If you want to pay for extras, that is your choice. The game offers them. The extras have zero effect on gameplay. I don't pay for extras.

  • You're one of 0.1% with that amount of dust. No new items are dropping in the engrams. Just because you're set for the season doesn't mean the other 99% of the playerbase isn't getting shafted.

  • set not set - I do not buy Eververse stuff. MAYBE once I think I purchase a ship simply because I could not get it to drop and it became available a second time. I certainly would not have purchased a sparrow. and I don't believe I have ever purchased an emote.

  • Ok, but getting any of those items through drops is now not an option. Just because you don't enjoy aesthetics in a loot game, doesn't mean most other people don't.

  • thank you - you want aesthetics, pay up. can't - don't no need to complain. aesthetics are not part of the game they are an ADD-ON. Add-ons are exactly that Additional Fee.

Aesthetics shouldn't be an add-on. To keep up with this game at content release dates, most people have paid around $200. Microtransactions are cancerous. Aesthetics are a HUGE part of any loot game. Looking cool, feeling cool. Putting all of that behind another paywall is an awful decision. Keep on shilling for Bungie. I'm sure they really appreciate you defending their shady business practices. Have you gotten so accustomed to games ripping out basic content and selling it to you at extortionate prices, that you actually believe that cosmetics were always like this?

  • it is a first person shooter. how much time are you spending standing in front of a mirror? I would rather be looking down the barrel of my gun pointed at an enemy. Heaven Forgive Me.

Every time you open your inventory? Every time you do an emote, at the start of every single PvP match, your gauntlets when you fight, every time you cast a super, every time you die, every time you respawn, every time you use a sword, every time you pick up a relic or item, every time you jump on your sparrow, every loading screen in the game, the weapon skins for that gun that you're using, the shaders on your gun and armour, every second you spend in the tower. I could probably find more.
