I do free low comp help, by playing on throwaway accounts I create because I don’t like how the pinnacle weapon system is structured.
But there is literally nothing Bungie can do to stop the recov situation..
99% of people doing recovs are on twitch or third party LFG, sure a few post on this app, but most are smart enough to not discuss payment on the app because that gets them banned almost instantly.
If we want to stop recoveries we have to start making changes to the pinnacle weapon system, so that less skilled players will have an easier time getting them as time goes on and seasons pass

Usually the same five people spamming “EaSy LeGend iN 3 hOuR$” but still. They advertise their recovs on throwaway accounts too. I’ve heard some of them outright scam you for your money.

I know for a fact that they get banned. Because I posted in fireteams, had a guy message me, and I stupidly offered to recover his account, in a Bungie message. Bam, 3 week ban with a warning saying something about next offense can be permanent within 1 minute of sending the message. Basically, as long as they don’t specifically mention a recovery, or payment on any extension of bungies app they are fine. But there is definitely a zero tolerance policy if they catch you on the app.
