You are so goddamn wrong that it isn't even funny. 1) Casuals are not ruining the game. They are the reason why the game is as it is. Funny enough, most of the hardcore players disagree with the way this system is working, and wish for a change in some regards. Your own crowd doesnt even agree with you. 2) You do understand that this system in [i]objectively[/i] poor right? In a game like Destiny, the gateway to wearing the armor you want and the benefits to your playstyle should not be gated by a wall that contradicts the whole point of this game. This is a damn MMORPG, so I am expecting to run builds and wear armor and use weapons the way I want. That has been the point of Destiny since its release, and as the years went by, the system got better, until Forsaken came out. The gating of progression behind a redundant resource is something that [i]mobile games[/i] do, and yet I bet some of you people complain about that shit like a bunch of damn apes more than any other casual would. 3) If anything, you are not any better than those same toxic "casuals" you complain about. You people act like this game was built for the hardcore crowd. I am sorry to burst your bubble, but if you want a game that promotes hardcore play and genuine time to understand... then go play WoW or Guild Wars. Destiny(especially Destiny 2) is [i]built[/i] on casual play, and minimal effort required to put in. Why do you think so many kids, and busy adults play the game with little effort required? This game is so easy and simple that anyone, and I mean [i]anyone[/i], can play it well. You act like this game is the damn Vietnam War of MMO's, when this is the equivalent to a war in a Disney movie. And you know what... why is this game being built for casuals a bad thing? If you are so hardcore, and are such a badass gamer who obviously is better than everybody, than why don't you go play a game that is built for hardcore players? It isnt that hard. Stop wasting people's time and do better at not being a lazy troll.

Casual players are not being ignored though. Bungie visions this game being around Enchacement Cores, and I respect their decision, as it is their game that they made. I respect a developer's vision for their product. But, as a result, they can respect me quiting the game and not giving anymore of my money. See how that works? Also, if you considered my wall of text to be equivalent to a book, than you need to read more books other than Dr. Seuss.
