How is it fair that I pay taxes but I'm not allowed to take my bicycle on the freeway?

Because that's unsafe sir. You need to at least make the motor noises.
-
ahahahahahahaha
-
If it wasn't entirely clear, you're the bicycle and Crucible is the freeway.
-
And on the freeway the faster people go left, and the slower people stay right. I'm not arguing for separate matchmaking. I'm arguing being restricted for 2 weeks because my bicycle is harsh. So the ticket should be maybe a day or two or just a block from competitive, not the entire crucible.

If you don't fix the underlying problem, it doesn't really matter. You're just going to keep getting banned.
-
And how do I fix the "underlying problem"? Start my own internet company? The original post says I live in the country and have the best net I have available to me. So move? Spend tons of money to relocate just so I can not get banned on a video game? Absolutely not, I understand the frustrating interaction with hard laggers but I am not hard lagging, I'm running a tad slower and bungie should be more considerate and just than removing people with less than premium connections. We payed the same for the game just like you.
-
Maybe you don't? Maybe it was a poor choice on your part to buy a game that you're not capable of running adequately. It's irrelevant to this discussion whether or not you paid for the game.

Bicycles deserve equal treatment with motor vehicles. No more discrimination!
