Destiny PvP has always operated under the concept of "Shifting Metas", meaning certain weapons are OP for a while and most people are fine with that. The problem comes when such weapons remain at the top for a large amount of time. The more time they do, the more people switch swides (between supporting it and wanting it gone). Given the fact LH/NF have been meta for the past 9 months now (longest meta there has ever been in D1 and D2), there's no surprise a lot of people are sick and tired of them. Time for a change.
