People do realize that when this nerf rolls out it will take a few days for the better players to sort out the new Meta. The better players will still roll 6 deep in QP and if your a .5kd now you’ll still be a .5 kd then. If your a 1.5kd player now you’ll still be a 1.5kd player then. The results will be the same lol. Absolutely nothing will change except that icon showing what gun killed you.
This nerf does nothing to fix the issues in crucible. The issue is the lack of any skill based matchmaking. A six stack of players good enough to earn NF will still demolish six blue berries if they used nothing but blue weapons. If you think otherwise your living in a delusion.

It isn't about becoming better. [spoiler]But reasonably speaking, you have a better chance taking on a good player who isn't using the Luna's Howl versus one that is.[/spoiler] It's about making a shift in the meta: Adapting new playstyles to try and freshen up the crucible.

A shift in the Meta lol. I don’t care what Bungie does to Luna’s and NF. It’s still going to be a hand canon meta if nothing else changes. Shit it might still be a Luna’s/NF meta. They will both three shot at what? .1 seconds longer with a quicker body shot ttk without magnificent howl than pre nerf Luna’s/NF with magnificent howl. This nerf does nothing to the enhancement of enjoyment in crucible. Other things need to change. Specifically the matchmaking.

No I totally agree with you. I will continue to use my Luna's after the patch rolls out. Matchmaking could definitely use some changes

Bungie already tried that. The "good players" cried until they changed it back lol. Turns out "good players" only feel good when playing in games with "bad players" they can stomp lol

They will still get to stomp lol. Meta might change a bit but QP will stay a cesspool. Nerfing Luna’s and NF is Bungie trying to treat the symptom while ignoring the cause. Unless the matchmaking is fixed the blue berries in this game will still be sheep to slaughter.

That's what i was referring to. Bungie already tried skill based matchmaking. Top streamers/youtubers/community members cried about it because their matches were sweaty lol. They whined until Bungie went back to connection based matchmaking.
