Not knowing a great deal about fortune telling isn't the point of the Tarot to tell a journey? Is it possible to look at the invitations not as individuals but rather each one being a step on a journey, potentially that of Orin? Especially since completing each invitation is infact telling us more about Orin.

Maybe you could be right as both the new lore book and the invitations are talking if hiw orin became the emissary but as to why our guardian is choosen well that’s probably another can of worms
