Guys, keep in mind that we, the luna and NF owners, had around 8 months the best pvp guns in our hands. It is time thaat we let others have fun too. PvP wasn't made exclusively for us hardcore sweaters.
I have my luna, I played the gun for 4 months without a break in crucible and I WANT THIS NERF!
Yeah, it took time and skill to get the guns but we had already enough benefit from them.
I will be happy when I can pick up my auto rifles again without worrying about lunas and NF around each corner.
And it is kinda ironic that you guys, which have obviously so much skill, complain about a nerf which would you only force to have EVEN MORE SKILL with the guns or playing guns which do require actually gun skill and knowledge.
I don't want to say that luna and NF are crutch cannons but I feel like all the complainers didn't touched other primary guns since they got the pinnacles. It is time that you learn to play other guns again.

2 RepliesI never liked it tbh made it all the way to 3100 whatever I'm at now without using it so I dont need it recluse is fine so I dont see any nerfs for that but I can see why howl was nerfed it's good makes people try new guns (I was using monarch and antiope my whole way through lol)

What hurts the most is them making it a 150 that changes the weapon completely it loses its feel. Just like ep and other rapid fires becoming slower. The weapon won’t feel good or the same. Hell they could take away or change magnificent

From my expieriences across multiple seasons i can say, that competitive matchmaking is already pretty bad and the population is very low, leading to playing agianst the same people multiple times in a row. So what point is it in nerfing those rewards till they arent viable no more? A Kindled Orchid with Killclip or Rampage can do the same thing that the updated Luna/Nf can. They have very high aim assist and are very easy to use, leading to players abusing the sh*t out of these weapons.The ease of use and the fast time to kill leads to those weapons beeing the most used weapons on console, in other words, the meta on console consists of nothing but luna/NF. On PC, The weapons are very hard to get and only few people have them. It has little aim-assist and requires the player to pace and land its shots. They say that NF/Luna wont even be worth going after, which would lower the already pretty low comp population even more. To all those saying that there was a change needed cause on console, those weapons are the only ones viable: I know that those weapons are OP and easy to use, i also think that they need to be adjusted at some point, i just think that the descision Bungie made with changing the Archtype is not the right way to balance those weapons. When I look at the most used weapons on PC and compare them with most used on console, i can clearly see that there are big differences. This balance change may be reasonable on Console, it definitly isnt on PC. If you Look at the statistics on PC, Ace of spades Takes up 57% of Competitive kills, Luna takes 10% and NF Doesnt even make it in the Top 5. so i cant see there beeing an issue with those guns on PC. Thus, i suggest, as one alternetive balance option, to splitt the sandboxes apart and have each sandbox have their own balance changes. Another option, would be to lower the aim-assist just on console, making it harder to use and actually taking skill to be successfull with. If you think about it, this will make the Luna/NF not special anymore, you could even say that it isnt a pinnacle. The Time To Kill is the same as other 150RPM Handcannons, u just require 2crit 1body to kill instead of 3crit.This wont really make a difference, because people that are good enough to earn Luna/NF are probably good enough to 3crit anyways, meaning the perk is pretty useless

I used my Luna to much because it was to good. 2000 plus kills on it so far in about 2 months of usage. I suck at 150 rpm but I will give the new Luna a go

Of course i hardly used anything but NF, i spent 3 months grinding for this damn weapon i'm not about to let it sit in my vault. This is a trophy gun, you want people to know that you've made it into the 7th circle of hell and back. It's insane to me that NF is now going to be worse than a service revolver with kill clip which guess what, has the same ttk as NF but comes from a god damn PVE vendor and requires absolutely no skill to get.

How about instead of just slapping a nerf on everything that is considered "OP" they actually try to create viable options by increasing other weapon's potential to match that of these weapons? A company's first thought should never be to just swing a nerf hammer at anything that is popular or causing a bit of an issue, but that is what Bungie does for the most part.

3 RepliesYou play on console ? Because for one they are not crutch canons on pc, they are not even top of the game. And two you never put in the effort/were not good enough for a not forgotten if you only have the lunas. Lunas is easy to get relative to the grind required for NF. This is a dumb post.

I totally agree with everything you said. The gun is beyond stale. People have had more then a long enough time in the sun with it. Time for a new gun to rise to the top.

4 RepliesThen buff all other primary Exotics to compete with these weapons Ace of Spade decrease recoil. Vigilance Wing: allow for two tap at fairly close range With a proper 3 body 2 head twice. All ten bullets landing this would make this weapon a beast again. Rat King: 3 tap at close range, 1 body 2 head Crimson: have that max range perk actually have max range, allow it to 3 tap just as far as NF. Last Word can already compete with Luna and NF If you have all primary exotics capable of the same thing, this would bring balance and make shotgunners, snipers and fusion runners actually respect a primary weapon. This will also fix Wardcliff running the exotic slot and people will actually aim their heavy again instead of shooting blindly at the red blip on your radar, dodge reload and try again. Im pretty sure, making players chose Luna, NF or Wardcliff will balance everything out. Its not just Luna and NF, its the combo of dust rock, luna OR NF And Wardcliff together that makes it an issue. This 3 weapon combo is OP, not Luna or NF. I’m pretty sure every Luna NF player has been worked by Last Word, Erentil, Mida, even trust in the right hands. Stop the nerfs, start with buffs.

I agree with your title. It was bound to happen. I just wish that they would be more creative with other weapons to compete, rather than neuter LH/NF. I am not necessarily saying “buff everything”. I AM saying to get creative with new weapons and add some rolls to farm from vendors.

38 Repliesdon't have NF or LH but never had an issue dealing with them in the crucible. I think the change is pointless and once again makes me lose any motivation to try and earn anything "good" in the game because Bungie will just nerf it into the ground anyway

Yes, and I just got my lunas less than a week ago and bungie’s already come out and said -blam!- you. There’s better ways to nerf this, or gee, i dunno, buff all the other primaries because most of them are useless.
