Guys, keep in mind that we, the luna and NF owners, had around 8 months the best pvp guns in our hands. It is time thaat we let others have fun too. PvP wasn't made exclusively for us hardcore sweaters.
I have my luna, I played the gun for 4 months without a break in crucible and I WANT THIS NERF!
Yeah, it took time and skill to get the guns but we had already enough benefit from them.
I will be happy when I can pick up my auto rifles again without worrying about lunas and NF around each corner.
And it is kinda ironic that you guys, which have obviously so much skill, complain about a nerf which would you only force to have EVEN MORE SKILL with the guns or playing guns which do require actually gun skill and knowledge.
I don't want to say that luna and NF are crutch cannons but I feel like all the complainers didn't touched other primary guns since they got the pinnacles. It is time that you learn to play other guns again.

3 RepliesI have NF and Luna and to be honest I'm still against how it was nerfed but I somewhat agree with your post. Even I think it's getting old running into 6 stacks with all NF, especially in this event. So maybe it will make other people run other guns but people will always run whatever the meta is. Service Revolver is the closest thing with NF and not to mention Recluse which can literally shred you if the person using it has half a brain. There's also ace of spades... what's to stop the people who've complained about NF and Luna to start complaining about Recluse? I think there is a bigger problem than just nerfing these weapons.

8 RepliesThey just need to do away with pinacle weapons and reward pinacle armor instead (i.e. unique design with random rolls but able to be purchased multiple times across all characters). What are your thoughts on this?

I’ve managed to grab every pinnacle weapon except for NF and mountaintop. Quite frankly I’m happy to see the meta at least be looked at on console. The fact that DRB,LH and wardcliff was the default loadout was really annoying to fight over and over again.

3 RepliesAs I mentioned in my other comment, I think they should bring other weapons up, nerfing always starts a train wreck of bad decisions. I have a NF but I also use Bygones with killclip, it has a .6 TTK and when proc'd is pretty reliable, I two burst people all day. I think they should buff autos, scouts and remove bloom from hand cannons on console. I am a PC player BTW so for us on PC, LH/NF isn't OP at all, we have a lot more weapons to choose from as we do not have to deal with bloom and the other random crap on console. If anything balance separately console from PC.

But......we could have MORE good guns if they fixed Handcannons on console, instead of nerfing ones that really don't NEED major nerfs. You could easily tweak Magnifcent Howl to boost damage by 1.8 instead of 2.3x, then nerf the stability and aim assist. This would fix most of the issues with the gun, the other problems have NOTHING to do with it. It's the fact that all other Handcannons are bad on console, whereas on PC, we literally use nothing but Ace of Spades. I would rather see Ace nerfed than Luna, that's how bad it is.

I dont mind the nerf or changes to perks but leave the rpm alone.. i dont want the gun to feel different when shooting...

2 RepliesGuys like me you and myself (I have a 1.7kd so consider myself at least half decent) will still mop the floor with the majority of the pvp player base due to our increased skill in the crucible. In fact I'm betting that even if you used white guns you would probably still top the leader board in most matches. It's not the NERF that annoys me, it's the lack of buffs that would make other weapons more reliable in pvp that is the problem.
