More personalised helmets

When I made my guardian back in September 2014, like many of you I spent about an hour in the character creation because I wanted him to be absolutely perfect, and he is, to this day when I’m in the tower I look at him and know I didn’t make a single mistake and it takes me back to the day I made him, so you can imagine how annoying it is that he is faceless 95% of the time. When the trailer for Curse of Osiris dropped I thought what I was waiting for had finally come as Osiris was sporting the helmet I’d been seeing it my dreams since 2014 and I was looking forward to being able to show my guardians glowing blue eyes off out in the wild, and he’d also be able to leave the tower without dematerialising his horn, his beautiful beautiful horn. And I bet many hunters are thinking well if cayde can do it, why can’t I, I think this game has been in dire need of something new character personalisation wise as the endgame armours always seem to make personalisation quite linear and this would add a new way to show off, if they go with the Osiris approach it could be split into two parts that you can personalise when you inspect your helmet, the helmet itself which you can change into different animals such as what Osiris has, an eagle, wolf, bear, lion, anything. And the bandana that you can equip a shader to to change to whatever colour you like and maybe a selection of patterns, I think this would also be a cool way to finally clan customisation into the game in a way as clans can select a helmet and bandana colour to all have. Let me know what you guys think I’m sorry this was a long post but thank you if you made it down here to the bottom we don’t get many visitors.
