Why do you people feel that to be banned you need to USE a cheat? Simply having a cheat running (even if not for D2 or hooked to D2) is enough to trigger anti-cheat. It could also be a ban for having a debugger, trainer, code injector, or memory editor (among a multitude of other unsupported types of programs) running.

  • Depends on what she looks like! But if you/others had no intention of using said program, why even have it running to begin with? Especially since day1 where Bungie has said to not even so much as have the program running! A better example would be if I were to take a gun & stand in front of a bank while wearing a ski mask and dark clothing with the police in parking lot. What do you think the police are thinking in this scenario? Now imagine the police are Bungie and the person with gun is a pc user with cheatengine (for example) running on pc.

ok yours is better thank you i will use this in future im not native english so this stuff is not so easy but in your cenario the policy will eventually take you in arest but they wont put you injail for a lifetime without a court when you not aktually go in the bank ( depends on the country but lets this happened in the us so there you can wear a gun legally) they will give you a punishment and let you be free i never said let them raom free with this programms but what about lets sday a ban for 2 weeks with the info ´´ we banned you for the detection of a forbidden process you now have 2 weeks to solve this issue after this you got permanently banned´´ i mean this bcs the bann can come from a logitech ambient light softwear ( which i found out with the help of a user here that use similar display scanning techniges that aimbots use diddnt know this before ) or a hacker , or a virus , or a programm that some use to make skyrim mods and they want to play some gambit while the mods compoile ( pretty harmless i think) with a warning i would know ´´ OMG better not use this in the future i dint know this good that they gave me the oppurtunity to learn this i never thought of this before ´´ and would play happelly after and would spend money on the future expansion like i did in the last jeahrs i hope you can understand my bad writting

  • This isn’t a criminal matter (such as your example of being thrown in jail for life without a trial and/or due process). This is a private matter between Bungie & their users. The users had to agree to certain terms/conditions before being allowed to play. Two of those (in very general/broad terms) is that 1) the user allows Bungie to terminate/restrict/alter a users access at any point for any (or no) reason at all, and 2) Bungie doesn’t have to give a warning/reason/2nd chance. Such is what happened in this (and all other) banned/restricted cases.

  • man i just sticked to your own example and just tried to answering your original question ´´ Why do you people feel that to be banned you need to USE a cheat?´´ why do you feel offended now? and just that bungie can do what they want dosnt mean it is the best/gretaest way to handle a situation and critic must be allowed without beeing attacket just for saying it this is like when i say ´´ you just rezitate the policys in a blindly matter to reach deep in bungies butt´´ ( to clerify this thats an excample not my opinion it just used to clear my point so calm down ) and for peolpe that think that they do nothing wrong ( bcs they dont think about this matter or dosnt have the knowledge or are plain stupid to say it the hard way) this is a shock and needs time to understand and Bungie is the only company( so far as i know ) that handles it this way so people have to come in terms with it kakkao games a company that is know for realllllyyy bad service talkes with the comunity and addmins they false banned some ( and to clarify this for you to not trigger you its an excample of support service not meant that all are falsely banned which i never said ) all i say is they could improve in this matter and this could be done more customer friendly bcs i still love D2 and would not like it to shrink to a small hardcore fanbase ( which i hardly believe you will be in it ) bcs this would cutt of money that bungie need to make more quality games

  • Except I've never had anything like that running, EVER. I've never had a need or desire to use anything like that in any instance, so it couldn't have been because of that.

  • Well...it seems something you had running triggered a review, in which case the SRT confirms the flag was for a bannable offense.

  • I've never had anything running like that while playing Destiny. When I play I even make sure the only things running are Spotify, Battle.net obviously, and the game itself. That's all I need and use while playing Destiny 2 and I highly doubt Spotify could trigger a review.

It won’t. Even a trace process (in TSR state) will trigger it.
