I've explained why in previous posts to you.
The sad part is---although my playtime would have gone down with the release of Anthem and The Division 2---the extent to which it has decreased is purely on Bungie.
Purely on their stubborn unwillingness to respect their player base...and fix what are clearly broken in-game systems.
I'm already 60% of the way to getting the Oxygen SR3. Once I get that, I'm only going to play this game on Fridays to see the Invitation to the Nine Lore.
I refuse to play this game any more than that in its current state.

I'm with ya, I've been going through my back catalog playing some games and as much as I would like to play destiny I get board on it after 5 min right now with no new PvE content worth a !@#$#@.

I am in the same boat. I play on Thursdays with my friends, most of which don't play enough or care enough about the games systems to be bothered by the nonsense that is Bungie. We do some Gambit, maybe a Nightfall, and we have a few beers, that is pretty much all I do. Over the last two weeks, every time I get on to "grind", I end up getting bored and don't have any real compulsion to keep going. Thanks for the response.

Predictable outcome.
