The amount of ways you get Enhancement Cores is not the problem. It's how wasteful using them for infusion is.
Even if you have a few spare your left in limbo as to when you use them. What if your next two powerful drops in the same slot but you infused on the first drop. It's a waste. Until your drops are at the power cap it's a flawed system I believe.
And you can rarely use them to actually master work anything. I hope this comes across as constructive criticism as that's my intention.

I have to disagree. Apart from for those god tier rolls for Crucible..I find masterworking a huge hassle. I would not masterwork guns even if they removed them from infusion. Infusion to a higher level than giving my extremely rare god rolls that extra little tidbit of shine to look special.
