The amount of ways you get Enhancement Cores is not the problem. It's how wasteful using them for infusion is.

Even if you have a few spare your left in limbo as to when you use them. What if your next two powerful drops in the same slot but you infused on the first drop. It's a waste. Until your drops are at the power cap it's a flawed system I believe. And you can rarely use them to actually master work anything. I hope this comes across as constructive criticism as that's my intention. Cheers

    I have over 975 hours logged into this game, and masterworking your own items may as well not even be a thing. It's definitely not an option for me, and I think I put in a good amount of play time. I don't crazily infuse random items, but I don't want to get stuck using undesirable perks for very long just to be able to run at my highest light level. I have a couple of items per character that I always run, and I can barely keep a handful of cores on hand. Spending 3 hours a day using the brother Vance loophole isn't something I even care to consider.
