The amount of ways you get Enhancement Cores is not the problem. It's how wasteful using them for infusion is.

Even if you have a few spare your left in limbo as to when you use them. What if your next two powerful drops in the same slot but you infused on the first drop. It's a waste. Until your drops are at the power cap it's a flawed system I believe. And you can rarely use them to actually master work anything. I hope this comes across as constructive criticism as that's my intention. Cheers

  • Sort of. Consider that the current method for effectively earning cores is shopping at/running errands for Spider. Unless you are deliberately farming cores there is no reason to visit Spider. Except maybe planetary materials, because 25 per infusion means you could buy 1,000 and be out again in 40 infusions (provided all 40 require the same material) a 250% increase from the D1 cost of 10 mats.
