The amount of ways you get Enhancement Cores is not the problem. It's how wasteful using them for infusion is.
Even if you have a few spare your left in limbo as to when you use them. What if your next two powerful drops in the same slot but you infused on the first drop. It's a waste. Until your drops are at the power cap it's a flawed system I believe.
And you can rarely use them to actually master work anything. I hope this comes across as constructive criticism as that's my intention.

I agree, it I think some of the community miss the point of infusion. It's not to infuse every piece of +2 gear you get in a given slot. You hold onto those pieces so that higher and higher rewards drop from Milestones, Primes, and Exotics (which is a free infusion), and you really only infuse every 10 or 15 power levels. Or, people can save infusion for their weapons, and just throw on whatever armor they get until they're ready to infuse. Remember, armor perks arent that important in most gameplay. You could play the whole game in Year 1 armor with no perks.
