I have offered a small solution. Which would be if you lose you lose no points. It's called no loss penalty for comp. I had this discussion with someone and pointed out the facts as I see them. Currently with the point a being doubled for comp you also lose double. You currently gain/lose 60 points. So with the way it's going cause bungie didn't think of this. You win you get 60 points ok fine. You lose you lose 60 points stupid I know and it needs to be gotten rid of. If you are ddosed,disconnect with error code,leave a match,or your team leaves leaving you as the sole survivor you lose 60 points if not more and are threatened or out right banned for a certain amount of time because of these facts. With no loss penalty. You win a match you gain 60 points. You lose a match you lost a match and will continue to play till you win again you gain no points for losing but you don't lose your progress and will continue to play and try to be better than what you are. If you are ddosed,disconnected with error code,leave a match,or your team leaves you you lose no points are probably threatened with a ban or out right banned for a certain amount of time but after the ban is lifted you go back and start playing again. My idea would work and i see how false reports of being hacked or what have you will be made but that would be were bungie makes a system that tells the difference between just leaving and actual net work manipulation was involved and could punish accordingly. But no one wants this no one cares for fairness or balance so we are stuck with the bullshit we have been given.
