Field of View (PC)

Destiny 2 is a fun game that I look forward to playing but lately its gotten a bit harder to come back to. This isn't because of gameplay or a lack of content, it's because after playing other titles the first person camera feels like I'm looking through binoculars. The best and most recent example of this is Apex Legends. This game has 4:3 Horizontal Field of View (HFOV) scale that is set to 90 by default. This results in a 16:9 HFOV of about 106°. Destiny on the other hand has a HFOV scale that maxes out at 105. This would be great if the slider wasn't a lie. The actual 16:9 HFOV when set to 105 is much closer to 100°. Which can feel pretty cramped at 16:9 and makes me feel uncomfortable when switching from games with a more standard FOV. Please, if it is within the realm of possibility, fix the 4% discrepancy in FOV or allow us to raise the FOV to 110 and get an actual HFOV of close to 106°. Maybe, possibly, consider doing both? Games have been using a 4:3 FOV of 90 for a very long time. Its the default for pretty much every Source game iirc. Widen the view from 4:3 to 16:9 and that translates to a default of 106.26° which is literally unobtainable in Destiny. I respect the arguments that the further you sit from your display the lower the FOV needs to be but I'm a PC player and I can't sit 10 feet from my monitor.
