9 RepliesWhile Gambit Prime does sound like it has some mechanical adjustments Gambit in general sorely needs, the fact remains that it doesn’t sound like there’s much of substance going on with this expansion other than Gambit-focused content. Banking so heavily on an odd duck mode is disappointing to say the least. And, as usual, they still haven’t removed Masterwork Cores from infusion.

The new armor and weapons look sick, but what is this role specific stuff, is it implying you can't wear the armor unless you're playing gambit? I hope not as the armor finally looks a bit more realistic.

It’s hilarious to read the PR spin of “we screwed up launching Black Armory so we defiantly fixed that for Joker Wild”, but I am glad it’s being addressed. It’s a good change to allow players to play the new content almost immediately. The new commercial (come on man we all know what ViDoc translates to from BDS to English) gave me a mixed reaction. There was a lot to actually be excited about, and then there was Luke Smith showing up to say “wait it’s going to be good trust me”. Sorry dudes but you lost the trust over the last year and a half. Earn it back first. I will say all the time gating is pretty whack still. Xur Bounties don’t come up for a week after they should. Why? I want to have one date on my destiny calendar at a time for new content excitement. There is nothing exciting about having to mark of a ton of different days.

Im going to play this, of course. Im going to enjoy it. Always do But I swear, its hilarious to me that there are even MORE TIMERS in this haha. No one on here at least is a fan of timers. Looks fun tho.

For anyone curious, here are the pinnacle weapons. [u][b]The Recluse[/b][/u] - The Comp pinnacle reward is a Veist SMG that does more damage after you get kills with other weapons. [u][b]Oxygen SR3[/b][/u] - The Vanguard pinnacle weapon is an Omolon Scout Rifle that does more damage with Dragonfly depending on how many precision hits you land beforehand. [u][b]21% Delirium[/b][/u] - The Gambit pinnacle weapon is a Machine Gun that gets increased damage with each kill until you stow or reload the weapon.

Gambit Prime Gambit Prime Weapons & Gear Gambit Prime Private Matches With New Maps Wow, you missed a trick Bungie. Should have been Gambit Prime Gambit Prime Weapons Gambit Prime Gear Gambit Prime Private Matches Gambit Prime With New Maps Gambit Prime Weapons With New Maps Gambit Prime Gear With New Maps Gambit Prime Weapons & Gear With New Maps and so on. You're not eeking out what at 1st glance seems to be awful content, and awfully light content, as far as possible. What is wrong with you?
