I would very highly disagree. Arguably catalyst make specific weapons top tier such as the black spindle having its own boxed breathing perk that increases its damage tremendously from keeping sights aimed down and the buff does not disappear after the first shot like the legendary park does. You can fire all day with a increased damage buff infinity as long as you keep the sights down and get precise shots. It really depends on what catalyst we are talking about here and a big thing with catalyst is that they give players the opportunity to get stat increases on a exotic weapon that lacks in a certain area with extremely high stat bonus (nothing like a masterwork stat increase as some catalyst increases a stat bar almost to full) It really is up to bungie to make these interesting and while their are some interesting ones that make those weapons better their are others that are completely pointless like the jade rabbit catalyst that should increase reload speed but bungie decided to instead increase a stat on the gun that was already extremely high. So that’s completely on bungie.
