ASotF: Chapter 4 (FANSTORY)

Hello, Guardians. Sorry for the brief pause, I have been sick of space cold, so I’m back. Also schooling is going a tad rough, so handled that. Anyway, leaving constructive criticism and feedback is much appreciated, and hope you all enjoy! Chapter 4 As a vandal escorted me to a refurbished room on the skiff, I noticed that it was accommodated not just for Fallen or even Guardians. There was a small Vex light above the bed, a Hive architecture in a corner of the room, as well as a Cabal gun rack. No Taken, I thought. Should have known though, Taken don’t have will. I smiled at the Vandal, to my surprise even, and he shut the door slowly and noiselessly. I took out a small radio from an old pouch that I hid in my armor, turning it on, messaging for anyone who could help. “This is Mira, Guardian of Fireteam Spirit Hawk, anyone copy?” I whispered into the radio. Static. Nothing coming through, and in defeat I stash the radio, turned off, into the pouch. I laid down on the makeshift bed, and I sat and thought about what the Captain said. Were there truly Fallen who fight WITH the Traveller? Who are these other Guardians? Does the City know about this group? How can I get out of here? That last thought chilled her a little bit. Even in a space of possible safety, she wants to escape this sketchy arrangement. She needed to know the truth, so she got some rest, as Mira could do nothing else. “This is Guardian Leader of Spirit Hawk, found Fallen arc traces leading out of atmosphere, confirm for tracking?” Wirven heard The Guardian say into the transmitter, speaking with Guardian Patrol. As he gave a nod for confirmation, he wasted no time and started off. “Hey,” said Khalid. “There’s a Cabal transport vessel headed toward Nessus with…. Fallen? And a Hive transport ship as well?! This doesn’t seem right,” his Ghost worries. “This might be a coalition against the City. Snap some photos for debriefing, but don’t send them yet.” “Understood,” replied Khalid. They turned on their stealth drives to stalk the convoy. Let’s hope that this is where you are, Mira, he thought. We miss you. He… he trailed off as something is coming through the comms. The bounds between Light and Dark are so very thin, Guardian. Which side do you fall? He checked the comms again on every channel, but nothing. Traveller? he questioned. As they autopiloted behind the possible convoy which held Mira, Wirven stared out into the vastness of space, watching stars glisten and our Sun burn its most brilliant flame.
