  • While I stubbornly use whatever weapons feel good, and whatever armor I want, I do get rather bothered by other players sometimes. Those who just sprint through a strike, making a mad dash for that loot chest at the end...I just don't understand. If actually doing a strike is that bothersome, then are you really enjoying the game at all, or are you in it just for the virtual slot machine? Likewise, those with absurdly powerful builds just absolutely devastating everything, leaving nothing to shoot at. At that point, it just feels like I'm a lame puppy being dragged along. Strikes quickly get very boring when you encounter this type of play so often, and the only other option is Nightfall, but I don't always have friends online to do them, neither am I gonna go out of my way to get a meta-build to try and solo them because what's the point in playing the game if I'm not playing it how I enjoy it? I just wish that strikes felt more like 3 player activities than they currently do. In this way, yes, what other players do can and does hamper my capacity to enjoy playing the game at times. However, I'm not going to use the most meta weapons and armor rolls just because it can kill something in 5 seconds instead of 5 and a half. Can't comment on PvP because I do not play PvP in games with supers/ultimates/CD's/whatever.
