These announced changes won't solve any of the main issues with the super and its neutral game.

Ffs. People wanted it buffed. It’s getting a buff. Be grateful bungie didn’t nerf it.

Edited by thesith411: 1/29/2019 2:01:27 PMThose are the wrong buffs. The neutral game and super will still be crap. The super will struggle in chasing down guardians, who can easily avoid the entirety of this slow super just by jumping. The neutral game will still see its useless perks not utilized in PvP and continue to be subpar in PvE. Overall, it'll still be crap. Those buffs weren't necessary and won't fix anything.

I could give a flying toss about its pvp performance to be honest. In pve it’s getting a damage buff for smashing adds & bosses, that’s a move in the right direction.
I could give a flying toss about its pvp performance to be honest.
That won't change the fact that it'll still be crap in PvP. Subclass trees are supposed to be at least decent in both PvE and PvP, while also offering players different play styles. Bungie alluded this in their TWAB about ability changes.
In pve it’s getting a damage buff for smashing adds & bosses, that’s a move in the right direction.
It's still highly impractical to get that high damage dealt. With Bungie's changes, they still won't fix any of the important issues with the neutral game, which is pretty important to the overall game.
