It was the top 40 posts on the forum yesterday. Now we get top 2? Maybe 3 posts? **IF** the system is to continue it needs a massive overhaul. CORES SHOULD BE GIVEN IN *Strikes *TOWER gambling. Space black jack, poker and farm activities. Chicken races, throwing horse shoes......whatever. TARGET RANGE << test our weapons while competing and shooting targets for cores. *Raid chests *Raid bossed *HVTS (all should have a drop chance) *Heroic public events *Dismantling duplicate exotics (not from collections) *Cruicble wins (especially comp games against higher tier players) The higher the odds the better the core reward. *Gambit boss kills Basically make the cores / game fun. Grinding shouldn’t be a chore but part of the necessity and core gameplay mechanics.
This is whole core business is turning into a PR nightmare. Not addressing the problem they made worse with the core renaming, and now deleting posts are totally unprofessional on Bungie's part. I'd have 100x more respect for them if they came right out and admitted they didn't listen, and made a huge mistake, than to do this. Losing your player base over your pride is incredibly stupid.
This is whole core business is turning into a PR nightmare.
Yeah you know I saw a story about it on CBS World News, Fox And CNN. How will they ever recover from this PR nightmare? What will come of them? -_- I really think you all are being way too dramatic about this. I leveled up from 380 to 650 on three toons in the matter of 4 weeks. If you play smart and spend them smartly you will not have a problem. It just comes down to you do not want to have to mess with them. That is reasonable, voice your opinion about it and see if they do anything thing. But to act like this is some world ending event is just ludicrous. Jesus I think you all just want drama.

Whole thing about the infusion system was it was fine to begin with. Bungie basically focused on appeasing a very small demograph of their player base. With Anthem right around the corner, which EA has is targeting as direct competition for Destiny. As a player, using the weapons I'm given in drops to save cores, since they introduced an item that is scarce to most is forcing me to play the game a certain way. You might be ok with playing through the game with a primary slug shotgun, a shit damage side arm, and a heavy grenade launcher to save cores, but I (and probably a lot of other people too), don't want to play like that. Every other large scale complaint in the forms, Bungie nerfed, or at the very least, addressed. These posts with the cores (which clearly a lot of people don't like) have been the most talked about topic in the D2 forms, to the point posts are being deleted as spam. Bungie up until a couple post replies a couple days ago, had been silent for the better part of 4 months on.

So you are just making the game harder on your self bud.
Every other large scale complaint in the forms, Bungie nerfed, or at the very least, addressed. They gave you grind, now you want less? I am not saying that you are wrong. I am just saying that you all are acting way to dramatic about this. Here you go how to save/farm cores. Fireteam medallions use them they pay for themselves so you do not need to buy them with real money. You know the cache it in bounty and it's counter parts? You can effectively farm this this is how. Hold on to everything you are going to shard, after you get the bounty you want. (pvp,ls,strike) Do the bounty that you want. ( pvp, strike, LS ) Then shard your stuff until that bounty drops again. Do not delete the other two types because this will force the game to only give you the one you are farming. Use an app or program to store your shard stuff in the vault so you can access it quickly. The fireteam buff makes these bounties drop, and improves your chances to get cores from dismantling. Guess I am a try hard by playing smart huh?
