If it effected you you wouldn’t have the opinion you have. Either you don’t do a lot of different builds or you have a ridiculous amount of time to play or you don’t mind spending hours doing pointless content.

There have already been better and way more fun systems. The only worse one I can think of is 3:1 infusion back in D1. Welcome to the minority.

Exactly. It’s about expectations and bungie has screwed us since TTK on. In d1 you didn’t have to play irrelevant and out of place content to infuse weapons. You could just run you normal weekly routine and get whatever materials you need. There wasn’t any “man I really want to do the raid right now but I have to go do patrol missions to upgrade weapons because I have to max light sidearms and my ikelos and spindle are 30 light too low.” And yeah that may seem pesky in a single situation but it’s literally like that for EVERY upgrade you get. Raid banners what a great idea except most players can’t even afford them after sucking spider off and giving him your life savings.

It would be a great way to keep content and milestones relevant. It would also be way more fun than the current core system and waiting ages for HVT targets and stuff.

Yeah I don’t even pick up the hvt ones. Why would I want to possible wait an hour for one small piece of a $180 game

You can't say those that like or don't mind the current system is the minority since this forum accounts for less then 1% of the player base.

I can't but ask OP - he is the one that said it: "D1 Day 1 player" how that is relevant to Destiny 2 is what I questioned and did not get an answer to, maybe you can get one to clarify the air.

OP apparently can't tell the difference between two different video games with different (though similar) names, I was meanly trying to point it out. you do realize that D2 is not D1 which is good. I don't know how to explain it to OP, maybe you can better than I can, word it in a way that he will understand the difference.
