Custom Shaders?

So we all know that making our characters stand out in D2 is pretty impossible, no armour ornaments for legendary gear etc, and a lot of the shaders in game just don’t seem to work well on the armour. So what about custom shaders? Here’s my idea and feel free to add your own! 1. Vendor and principle Pick a vendor, probably holiday as she doesn’t do anything really useful except events. Within said vendor introduce the function to create a custom shader and break down our current shaders from the 4 colours they are to the individual colours within them and we will call them shader components. 2. Creation Using shader components choose the four YOU want in the custom shader tool and from here you should be able to preview it on your guardian or at least a piece of armour. This would let you create any colour combination you wanted, full black, full gold, red gold and black etc the combinations go on. 3. Cost It would cost nothing for the breakdown of shaders into components. To create the shader the cost would depend on the rarity of the shader components the rarer they are the more they cost for example: Blue component - 20 glimmer Green component - 50 glimmer 1 legendary shards Purple component - 100 glimmer 2 legendary shards So a custom shader consisting of 4 purple components would cost 400 glimmer and 8 legendary shards. Once paid for you will have created one shader of your own choosing. Obviously you would need to repeat this 4 more times for a full armour set hence the low cost. 4. Specials The vendor could also sell special components such as glowing components, fire effect components, taken effect components etc. They could have special bounties that reward special components. During events you could even offer bounties that offer special components for a limited time like a heart pattern for crimson days or pumpkins for the festival of the lost. I know it’s long winded lol.
