Or you could try for pinnacle weapons, farm good forge rolls, raids, get to max light(if you aren’t already).

I’ve got (or am not good enough to get, in the case if pinnacle PvP weapons) those things. Honestly, the forges are basically what there was left to do. I was looking forward to doing a bit of forge grinding (I’m on vacation, whole day ahead of me, etc). I’m not weeping in a darkened room or anything, but I’m unthrilled with Bungie’s choice to roadblock things like this.
