While I agree that content seems better the heavy handed RNG, restrictive vertical and horizontal progression, and continuing lack of loot in the table seem to be worse than D2Y1. I, like many others it seems, grew tired of the Bungie 'bait and switch' hype. Nothing I saw in Forsaken made me feel like "yeah, I'll give D2 another try". I also felt the whole "Annual Pass" was going to be a "long on hype, short on content" cash grab and it appears it is just that. Some might like D2 but for me it was not worth the risk of buying in to continue.
