Destiny The Collection Code.

Forget about it.

Let's Boycott.

Bungie should allow the transfer of DLC codes.

I recently purchased Destiny the collections from ebay. The codes are not valid because they have been used. My issue is that, as a consumer I have always been able to buy and sell games. How Can Bungie Justify selling a product that fails to be an investment? No one should spend money on Games that can't be resold. If you get tiered of a game you should be able to re-sell it and use that money to buy more games. I don't feel robbed by the person who sold it to me on ebay. I feel robbed that Bungie, Activision, and Microsft are milking consumers. This is a truly disheartening issue. I have retained every gaming console, and all the games that go with them. My plan is to replay them when I'm too old to be active. If we are forced to repurchase a DLC every time we get a new email or account we are going to lose the thousands of dollars we invest in them. Essentially we are being robbed. Games are a life time investment. All the equity we hope to gain from them is gone. The life time amusement is now comparable to a one night stand. I hope people read this and realize the sadness we face.

 •
equity
Video games have no equity. There are 60 dollar AAA games for sale at gamestop used for under $10 buy 2 get 1 free. Many online games will eventually be taken offline. Only the games that do not require online connectivity will continue. That said, if it is digital content, one could argue that if for some reason, Sony, Microsoft, or whatever platform you have wanted to announce end of service that all digital content could be taken offline and rendered useless.
