Agree, this is needlessly complex and BS we have to sit here and wait for content we paid for that was supposed to be available today.

With what? What hints do we have? What prepared us for a puzzle that literally came out of nowhere? What knowledge do we have to help guide us? This is designed for a few people to run their little 'worlds first' race. That's all it is. At the end when the forge is open all we'll hear about is how one special little group did everything for us again rather than hearing of what WE did. D3 is going to have the end game and whatever war is started for the end and you know what we'll hear at the end of that story? "A powerful group of guardians won", and that group isn't us. None of the game is about us anymore, our guardian is supposed to be the hero of the story, not some other guardian who did everything while the rest of us 'normal folk' followed.

Niobe Labs and access to the 4th forge dropped at reset but no one can get in until at least one team figures out a needlessly complex puzzle. It's been like 4 and a half hours and streamers plus reddit still hasn't opened it. That is dumb imo.

Not dumb, remember when people liked the corrupted strike being locked until the raid was completed? If it wasn't for Niobe Labs Bungie would have dome the 4th forge nearly impossible so this thread would complain about the light level or difficulty instead

Yea, not from me. I'm 650 and don't mind monsters being difficult to kill. I also GENERALLY don't mind puzzles but this shit is over the top imo

Its an endgame puzzle Look up puzzles such as the battlefield 4 ones. Took weeks to figure it out Hell, look up Alpha lupi: The puzzle that announced Destiny back in 2013. It forced people to read a lot about astrology and religion and knowing how to use a telescope and wait till the night lmfaoo

Nothing should be locked behind the accomplishments of a few. The game should have prepared us all for this in a fair way. A story could have been used for that but nope, Bungie are too lazy for that now, oh sorry, they don't like that we only play the story once. The puzzle is out of nowhere. The corrupted being linked to the raid made sense considering what came after. And it was a strike. This is locking the rest of the content behind a door only a few can possibly unlock. End game or not, it shows how little Bungie care about the majority. I remember a time when this game was about what we could all achieve, not about some -blam!-ing world's first races to see who could unlock the game for us rather than let us all play. Sure we could all go play but how does one figure out the puzzle when there's nothing that makes sense? These streamers are good at puzzles, they do this for a living. Their hardcore play style is on a different level to any other hardcore play style because of that fact.
