Just because it’s a new approach doesn’t mean it will be good or interesting. They already timegated this new forge until today, so at this point I’m sure most people would be happy if there was a short quest, or nothing at all, to unlock it.

No, it is good and interesting. A lot of people are having fun solving, watching others solve, or just patiently waiting. Some people just want entry immediately. That's not reasonable simply because "you paid for it". You're getting exactly what you paid for.

Sorry, did not buy a pass to watch and wait on someone else to solve a puzzle so I can play a game I paid for.
